How to choose an eCommerce Hosting Plan
When choosing an eCommerce Plan for your company, there are a number of considerations. 

How many items do you plan on selling?
If the number is under 150 items, then Shopsite Manager SC will provide a solution that will work comfortably with your business, while lowering your initial and recurring costs.  If you plan on selling over 150 items, our designers strongly recommend you choose Shopsite Pro SC. The extra setup costs, will be offset by the time savings during the designing of your store. Shopsite Pro has advanced features for working with large numbers of products and an integral search engine will help your customers easily find the product they are looking for.

Do you need an associate program?
If having an associate program is important to you, associates are people that by sending visitors to your site, they receive a fixed amount, or a percentage of what the visitor spent at your store. This approach to eCommerce was popularized by Amazon.com.  If associates are important to you then, you will need to go with ShopsitePRO SC regardless of the number of items you have.

Do you need an associate program integrated with Bizrate, ClickTrade, or BCentral?
If ShopSite's affiliate program doesn't meet all of your needs and you have partnered with an outside associate program, an Advanced Ecommerce Module is available to integrate into ShopSite Pro.

Do you need product upselling?
Do you sell products in a variety of sizes, if so product upselling can be the key to your eCommerce success. With product upselling Shopsite will ask the customer if they would like to change from that 10 oz bag of widgets for the 2 LB box of widgets for only $1.00 more.  This is another feature that is only available in Shopsite Pro SC.

Do you want to allow your visitors to register at your store?
Shopsite Pro with our Registration Module allows visitors of your site to register at your store and perform functions like self service order tracking. With the Order Tracking module, registered users will also be able to see the items they purchased in the past, and automaticly be notified when an item is shipped, or back ordered.

Do you need to automatically process credit cards?
Shopsite Manager SC, and Pro SC have the ability to handle credit card transactions and process the credit card numbers with one click ease. The merchant just clicks on the bill button, once the order is ready to be shipped. SC packages use a third party to process creditcards, like Cybercash or Payment net. With SC packages, credits are issued in the merchant area of the 3rd party processor you chose.
