Cake- Do you have any toys that you collected over the years?
Dickey- I have this whole wall full of toys. Little statues, like historical figures like George Washington, I even have a little plastic statue of the former Mayor of Boston. I also have alot of random stuff like the stuff you get at Burger King, in 5 years it could be worth a lot of money!
Kevin- How about PEZ dispensers? Are They worth anything?
Cake - Yeah, I think some of them are, like the original Mickey Mouse.
Kevin- I'm looking for the Tom Bosley one!
Cake - Was there any favorite toy you had when you were growing up?
Dickey- I think my favorite toy was my air hockey game. It was cheap as hell, you actually had to glue the edges yourself. My father glued it but it never really worked, the air would blow out the bottom of the game because there was glue in all the holes. We may have just played on the kitchen table. It basically just kept us cool in the summer!
Kevin- I had a lot of Micronauts.
Dickey- Dangerous toys were cool in my neighborhood. Like the thing where you cook the little rubber bugs, or the easy bake oven. You could bake a cookie on a light bulb in 5 hours.
Joe- Actually, It just got old and hardened up. If the oven wasn't plugged
in it would take 6 hours to cook!
Cake - How about you Joe?
Joe- I remember them rockets that that you would fill up with water then pump them up with air. I always wanted air rifles and stuff like that but I was never allowed to have that stuff.
Dickey- We had everything when I was growing up. We had mini-bikes and air rifles, we'd ride around and shoot each other. It wasn't dangerous enough that we were on these little motorcycles, we also had firearms. That was the kind of white trash family I grew up in.
Kevin- Did anyone have a Green Machine? It's like a big wheel but it steers from the back. That was my big toy.
Dickey- We called it the "Big Green Raunch Machine".
Cake - Did any of you ever think of inventing a toy?
Dickey- I think the world would be much better if we could just go back
to the old hoop and stick. What was wrong with "kick the can" ?
Cake- And Marbles, What ever happened to good old marbles?
Joe- Worked well with wrist rockets!
Dickey- We used to take the kids with the wrist rockets out with our BB Guns!
We also used to tie Big Wheels to the back of our mini-bikes. You'd put your feet on the pedals but you couldn't pedal so you would just grind down the tire.
Kevin- Then you'd get the notorious flat spot, and the kid who owned the big wheel would cry because you ruined his tire!
